Getting into Lute Tuning was published in 2006 and is a comprehensive volume designed to help the guitarist who is interested in playing renaissance lute repertoire on the modern guitar. While there are many fine books of lute music available for guitar, it was considered useful to present a companion volume of pieces, designed to complement the approach of that volume. Anon to the Lute is a collection of largely anonymous pieces from the English repertoire, starting from around Grade 2 and going up to about Grade 6. Each piece has been newly edited from the tablature and the set offers many opportunities to consider subjects discussed in Getting into Lute Tuning.

"The fingering is carefully added where appropriate and the presentation exemplary. This book is a lot of fun and deserves to do really well."
